Next Step Design works with world-class restaurants, high-end hotels, resorts, and cutting-edge workplace dining to create high-end commercial kitchens and foodservice design. Their web presence was in need of a refresh to reflect their forward thinking and innovative executions. A homepage concept was created utilizing the existing brand logo and colors to showcase a direction for the proposal. The existing content and structure of their live site was utilized. To elevate the look, we created subtle hand sketch graphics as a nod to the previous hands-on textures of the current site. However, their existing slab serifs were replaced with new fonts to reflect a more prestigious and modern look. Animations were then added to improve the scrolling experience and encourage engagement with the lower content.
